(HOUSEHOLDER(S) AND INTRODUCTORY BUSINESS)

Please note by accepting these terms and conditions you are entering into a legally binding agreement
For the purpose of these terms and conditions, the customer will be referred to as the Householder(s) and Time For You as the introductory Business. ‘The term ‘Householder(s)’ shall be deemed to include the Householder’s spouse or partner, where applicable.
The Introductory Business reserves the right to amend the terms of this agreement and should this be necessary, will inform the Householder(s) of such changes by posting them to the introductory Business Website, or the Householder(s), not less then 30 days before implementation of such changes.
The Introductory Business will introduce a cleaner (hereinafter a “Cleaner”) from its database of approved cleaners, to the householder on and subject to these Terms and Conditions.
The Householder(s) will sign the standing order mandate authorising payment as specified to be made by the bank of the Householder(s) quarterly in advance. Such payments shall continue until this Agreement is terminated in writing by the Householder(s) in accordance with Clause 8.
The Introductory Business will not forward the standing order mandate to the bank of the Householder(s) until a Cleaner has started with the Householder(s).
If a cleaner is retained by the Householder(s) for more hours then stated overleaf without the Householder(s) paying an additional fee, the introductory Business reserves the right to claim any fee due, plus interest if appropriate.
5. HOUSEHOLDER(s) OBLIGATIONS
The cleaner is introduced to the Householder(s) as a self employed cleaner and the Householder(s) will retain the cleaner under a Contract for services. The Householder(s) will directly agree with the cleaner and terms of such contract.
The Householder(s) will agree directly with the cleaner what services will be performed by the cleaner, and can change the scope and manner of the services by direct agreement with the cleaner.
The HouseHolder(s) will directly pay any cleaner retained by the Householder(s) at a rate agreed between the Householder(s) and the cleaner.
The Householder(s) will provide a safe working environment for the cleaner.
As a benefit to the Householder(s), for each cleaner introduced by the introductory business and retained by the Householder(s), the introductory business provides public liability insurance cover in respect of the cleaners liability to the Householder(s) should the cleaner cause a sudden and unforeseen accidental bodily injury to the Householder(s) or a third party or should the cleaner cause accidental damage to the property of the Householder(s) .
The limit of the cover is £2,000,000. Neither the introductory business nor its insurers will accept liability for any claims less then £100 in value and any such claims are hereby excluded. Where any claims is of value in excess of £100 the Householder(s) shall be liable to pay the first £100 of any such claim. Details of the insurance cover are available on request.
The Householder(s) shall have in place adequate insurance cover against liabilities to the cleaner and shall produce to the introductory business a copy of the appropriate insurance policy and cover certificate from time to time when so requested by the introductory business.
The Householder(s) will not be covered by the insurance policy provided by the introductory business if the cleaner is not introduced by the introductory business and/or the introductory business quarterly retainer has not been paid by the Householder(s) in accordance with the terms and conditions of this Agreement.
No Insurance claims for bleach damage will be accepted.
The introductory business accepts liability in the event of death or injury to any person arising out of the negligence of the introductory business or its employees.
The introductory business shall not be liable for any loss or damage in excess of the limit of its insurance cover nor outside the scope of its cover, as described in Clause 6.
The introductory business shall not be liable for events which are not sudden and unforeseen.
The introductory business shall not be liable for any consequential or indirect losses incurred by Householder(s) as a result of any failure of a cleaner to comply with his or her contractual obligations for whatever reason.
The introductory business shall not be liable for failure of any cleaner to return keys or any consequential loss that may arise as a result.
The introductory business shall not be liable for collusion or theft of property or possessions.
The introductory business can terminate this agreement only by giving one months notice to the Householder(s) in writing.
The householder(s) may terminate the Business Agreement only by giving one months written notice to the Introductory Business*
For a period of twelve months following termination of this agreement the Householder(s) will not engage any cleaner who has been introduced by the introductory business to the Householder(s). If the Householder(s) so engage(s) a cleaner, then damages of up to twelve’s months introductory business retainer may be claimed.
If the Householder(s) should terminate prior to cleaning commencing, then the introductory business may charge the Householder(s) a charge not to exceed £50.00.
It is the Householder(s) responsibility to ensure the standing order mandate paying the introductory business retainer is cancelled through the bank of the Householder(s) upon termination of the agreement with the introductory business. Payments received after the months notice period will incur an administration fee of a maximum £25 for the return of same.
If any provision of this agreement shall be found to be void, invalid or unenforceable, whether by court of law, agreement of the parties or otherwise, the remainder of this agreement shall remain in full force and effect notwithstanding any such invalidity, illegality or unenforceability but the provision in question will either be amended so as to make it valid, legal and enforceable or, in the event that this is not possible, deleted.
Normal allocation time for the cleaner is approximately 7-10 days from receipt of completed paperwork; this can extend however during busy periods and holidays.
